I woke up in the state of Texas and by 2 pm I was striped bass fishing. Very rarely do I ever post non fishing stuff but I made an exception because of the great time Gina and I had. We were there to visit my in-laws. We went to the Tex/OK game on Saturday. We also went to the Texas State Fair. However I think my favorite part of the weekend was going to a cattle auction.  Feeding my in-laws animals was pretty cool also.

 

Today was a grind until about 5:30 when we found the mother load of all schools. We fished them until we ran out of daylight. The biggest fish was 20 pounds. All fish were caught on diamond jigs.
