It was cold however the amount of fish helped warm us up real quick. In fact, before we even left the bay we had already caught 20 bass. The ocean was like a lake. There were birds and bass from Davis park to Fire Island Inlet.  All fish were caught on small jigheads and just about any color soft plastic. We didn't land any keepers but the crew that I had didn't mind one bit.  With the four of us casting all day I was happy that there were no trips to the ER. The young guy on the crew was sean. The kid can fish!
