traveled in total 212 miles, not nautical miles

 

Burned in total 130 gallons of gas.

 

That equated to 1.63 MPG, not nautical miles per gallon

 

When we were up on plane we traveled at 38-41 mph

 

ocean conditions were west winds @ 9kts, very small white capsbeside being on plane and trolling we also spent 1.5 hours running and gunning tuna. This eats up a lot of gas.

 

The boat had 4 people on it, 240 gallons of gas, 200 pounds of ice and all offshore gear.
